Company Description
We are working with a European Specialty Private Credit & Equity Investment Firm headquartered in Madrid that invests into private debt and real estate investments, with over 50 employees and more than €2Bn in AUM. Given strong recent growth in AUM, the fund is looking for an investment professional at the associate level with experience in either infrastructure, real estate or structured credit.
Role Description - Investment Professional
◼ Financial modelling and quantitative analysis skills to evaluate investment opportunities.
◼ Conduct in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and due diligence to support investment decisions.
◼ Prepare high-quality investment memoranda, presentations, and transaction documentation for senior management and investment committees.
◼ Prepare asset management reports, tracking performance metrics, and analysing potential exit strategies.
◼ Actively participate in weekly team meetings to discuss ongoing transactions, pipeline opportunities, and market developments.
Qualifications
◼ 2-4 years of experience in corporate finance, private equity, real estate, consulting, or related field.
◼ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top-tier university in finance, economics, business, engineering, or a related field, with an outstanding academic track record.
◼ Financial modelling and valuation skills, with a deep understanding of accounting, financial statements, and cash flow analysis.
◼ Excellent work ethic, humble, proactive, attention to detail and ability to excel in a team environment.
◼ Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
◼ Required full working proficiency in English.
◼ Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German and/or French language skills are helpful but not required.
